Urbane Cafe - Long Beach: Fresh, Flavorful Sandwiches & Exceptional Service

Love this new place. We needed this type of food here at LBX. Food is always fresh and delicious. I always get fruit as a side and its always fresh, not like other places where its soggy. It's one of my fams regulars now! High five to the manager and staff for doing a great job here.

Was welcomed immediately on entrance. Ordering kiosks are available but ordered at the counter. They listened and took the order without error. Drink choices were great. Alternatives to the usual Coke/Dr Pepper options that have real cane sugar. I had the lemonade. Really good choice. Got the chicken pesto with Sun dried tomatoes. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Yvette was walking around making sure guests had everything and picked up our empty plates. Great service and food. Thank you for a most enjoyable lunch. Looking forward to trying everything.

It was an absolute pleasure visiting Urban Cafe earlier today, and I wanted to commend the outstanding service I received. My experience was truly exceptional, largely thanks to your wonderful team member, Anthony. Anthony was incredibly pleasant and genuinely friendly from the moment he attended to our table. What truly stood out was his accommodating nature, particularly with our order; he handled our requests with such ease and attentiveness, which made our visit all the more enjoyable. His professionalism and cheerful demeanor significantly enhanced our dining experience, leaving a very positive impression. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Urban Cafe, and we sincerely hope that we will have the pleasure of being served by Anthony again. He is a credit to your establishment

I could come here every day. Seriously. I came back several times in a short span and it never got old. The focaccia bread is great, the sandwiches are creative. I'd say they have something for everyone. I appreciate that they come by default with a small salad. They have some amazing house made drinks as well. The fruit is fresh, the cookies are quite good. I found their online ordering to be painless and the staff prepared everything perfectly and promptly each time I visited. Obviously they use high quality ingredients and although the prices reflect it, I found it to be a fair value for what you get. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and fast to assist. The cafe is a nice place with plenty of seating and was clean and neat. I was surprised to find they have about 40 locations when I have never even heard of the place. I will not hesitate to stop in to an Urbane Cafe next time I see one.

Urbane Cafe is a very nice and clean place to eat. We’re here on Sunday night sitting outside, nice breeze. The Tuna Salad is delicious, the greens are fresh and the tangy dressing is amazing. Anthony provided excellent customer service and made the experience even better. Highly recommended.

We just came from an 8 day cruise and all had our luggage still and waiting for our flight home and came in and had a bite to eat also some cookies from Anthony. Best service I have had in all the area. Thank you to a welcome home from Hazel. Beautiful and friendly. Thank you kindly.

My brother reccmonded this place. I’ve had the ahi salad a few times and it doesn’t disappoint. On my fourth trip here, I brought my wife and kids. They order a tri-tip sandwich. As always the quality was excellent. My kids enjoyed the sandwich and our server, Anthony was the kindest server we’ve had in a while. I’ll be coming back soon.
